This beautifully restored, 100 year old stone house, tucked away in a small village, recorded as being an historic settlement, is on the Apokoronas peninsular. Only 5km from the sandy beaches of Kalyves and 25km east of Hania. The walls have been plastered using an age old technique using a special local stone found only at a depth of 4-5 meters. This stone is then ground into a fine powder before being mixed with lime. As a result the walls take on a beautiful scubbled, ochre colour that is smooth to the touch and very hard wearing.
